 **Note: To provide an extra level of functionality from a distance, RE-Ach digital lock comes with a built-in Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) feature that allows you to configure and operate the lock via a mobile application within a radius of 10 meters. Different kinds of passwords can also be generated using the application based on the desired type of entry to be used to unlock the lock. This digital lock allows the admin, who might be at a distance from the lock to grant access to someone who is in proximity to the lock. RE-Ach digital lock can also provide up to 250 unique accesses at a time using the BLE key.

SMART TECHNOLOGIES 

» Smart Password: The smart password technology allows you to hide your 6-8 digit numeric password between 4-digit random numbers. For example, if your password is 123456, the smart password allows you to hide the password before, after or in between other random digits, like 98761234569659. This function is particularly helpful when you don’t want to reveal your password to a person standing next to you while you are accessing your home. 

» Smart Voice: RE-Ach Digital Lock talks to you during the instances at which you engage with the lock. These interactive engagements include step-by-step voice guidance by the lock while adding a user, setting a password or enabling a function/mode; or simple voice notifications from the lock about the various operative modes or incorrect usage of the lock.

» Smart Freeze: This lock has a narrow tolerance for incorrect entries of access by way of a wrong password or unfamiliar fingerprint or RFID card – 6 wrong attempts on password and RFID card and 12 wrong attempts on fingerprint result in a lock-freeze for 30 seconds. This feature reduces the possibilities of unwanted intrusion.

» Permanent: This 6-8 digit password is set for the admin and users for regular access and remains active until the admin changes it. For the admin user, a master password is created to manage and operate the lock. This password should not be shared with any other user or guest to avoid any compromises in security. 

» Dynamic: This 6-8 digit password is created for guests using the Häfele Smart Living App and remains valid for a period of 5 minutes. 

» Bluetooth Key Sharing: In this system, the Häfele Smart Living App allows you to send a link via any messaging service to the person who wants to use your property. This typically helps in cases of secondary property management where you may have listed your property as a holiday home on house rental portals etc. The link invites the person to download the Häfele Smart Living App after which he/she can use the app to lock and unlock your property for a time period set by you.

USER ACCESS RIGHTS 

» Admin: The admin user gets access to the complete functionality of the lock including adding or deleting the access rights of users and guests. In addition to this, the admin can also reset the lock, get into the settings and check the logs, access advanced options, upload user data and update the firmware. RE-Ach lock allows creating 1 admin account. 

» User: Users can unlock the lock either using the unique preset password and/or registered fingerprint or RFID card to allow access to the home at any point of time. 

» Guest: Guests get temporary passwords, like the dynamic password or the periodic password, from the admin, which allows them access only for limited and specific times. RE Ach allows access to up to 250 guests at a time using the Bluetooth key sharing feature

LOCKING MODES 

» Auto Locking: Enables automatic locking of door latch, 4 seconds after it closes, restricting access into your home. In this case, the door latch cannot be opened from outside manually and would require an authorised fingerprint, RFID card or password to open it. 

» Passage Locking: This locking mode permits access into the home without the need of any authentication or key, most useful during gatherings or events. The door can be opened from the outside even if the door is locked from the inside by pulling the lever down. 

» Privacy Locking: Enables locking the door from the inside by pressing a safety button on the rear lock body and is used to restrict access into your home. The only way a person can enter your home from the outside, in such a situation, is by using the mechanical key or master password.
